Documents are saved in this website’s storage in the current browser on this device. This does not create a downloaded file or a cloud backup.

When can documents be lost?

• Clearing website data or removing a browser profile may erase documents.
• Private browsing storage is usually cleared when all private windows close.
• Deleting a document cannot be undone. Storage limits may prevent saving new changes.

Documents do not automatically follow you to another browser, device, profile, or website address.

Download Markdown backups regularly and keep them in a folder you can find.
